Obituary of Roger Duane Peterson

Roger D. Peterson, 91, a resident of Lutheran Home in Jamestown, NY, passed from this life on June 30, 2019.  A native of the Jamestown area, he also lived at various times in both South Carolina and Florida.

The second son of Pearle and Lawrence Peterson, he was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers David, Lawrence and Charles, and a granddaughter Laura Casteel.  Roger is survived by his wife Lorraine Sparling Peterson of Hultquist Place, his four children Joan Casteel (Jordan), Susan Peterson, James Peterson (Beth), and Cindy Evans (Scott Ferguson).  Also surviving are grandchildren Seth Casteel, Matthew Thomas (Sheryl), Jennifer Newman (Jeff), and Amanda Covey, three great granddaughters and one great-great grandchild to be.
