After I read about Makyia's recent death after just 18 way too short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Thomas family and friends. I know Makyia has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) . God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?"

Angie, Boston, Elijah and Thomas; I am so sorry, and you guys have not left my thoughts since I heard that Makyia was no longer with us. I can not imagine the pain you guys feel, because I know the pain that I feel and I only feel in love with yall when y'all were already lil munchkins :) I loved babysitting yall babies and hanging out at your house Angie bc I always thought you had so much cool stuff :). I thought makyia was one of the most beautiful little girls and she grew up to be even more beautiful as a young woman. I'll never forget when she got her glasses and I kept bugging you about them and finally you were like "lila she needs them ok!" Lol that still cracks me up and I actually talked to kyia about that a few months ago and we laughed and she told me as soon as she could she ditched them for some contacts; good times; and happy memories is all I'll ever keep. I miss yall and wish I could be there :(. I love yall more than I'll ever probably have the opportunity to express. Just always know that I do. Fly high Makyia; one adventure has ended but a new one has for sure begun. Love you little lady!!!
