Obituary of Vera L McLane

Vera L. McLane, 66, of Jamestown, passed away at 11:34 a.m. Thursday (September 14, 2017) at the home of her son, David in Sinclairville. She was born in Jamestown on July 9, 1951 the daughter of Alice Hitchcock Chapman, Jamestown and the late John McLane. She was employed as an assembler at Metal Tech / National Wire and had also been employed at CP Plastics, Phoenix Metal, GG Greene and Zurn Industries. Vera is survived by her children, David (Kelly) McLane, Sinclairville, Barbara (Richard) Silsby, Jamestown and Harry "Jack" (Kimberly) Reese, Gerry, NY., nine grandchildren, Jonathan and Samuel Williams, Martavius Jones, Jamestown, Chet Anthony, Sheffield, Pa., Damon Reese, OH., Clark and Tristan Reese, Gerry, NY, Parker and Maddison McLane, Sinclairville, NY, a brother, Richard Foster, Kennedy, NY, three sisters, Cheryl McLane, Bradford, PA., Liz (Craig) Hillerby, Ellington, NY and Marsha Ramos, Jamestown. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Hitchcock, Edward and Donald Foster and by three sisters, Ruth Pellerino, Donna Foster and Verna McLane. A funeral service will be held Monday at noon in Park Church, Sinclairville. Pastor Matt Slaven will officiate. Inurnment will be in Charlotte Center Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends for two hours prior to the service in the church. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
