Bill and I worked together for many years before both of us retired. I was the VP of sales and marketing at Kraft Fluid. I have many fond memories of our meetings and dinners. Bill was a true gentleman. My condolences to the Simpson family. Sincerely, Harry Schoenfeld

Mrs Simpson and family It is with great sadness we here at Fitzsimmons Hydraulics learn of Bill's passing. He was a trusted friend and business associate for many many years. Always quick with a joke or advice he was much more than just a "factory guy". The hours we spent traveling to and from our mutual business interests always was a learning lesson and a good time. In 1991 I interviewed with Bill for an account manager position at Danfoss. The HR manager recommended that Bill hire another candidate for the position. Though I was young and less experienced than the other candidates Bill saw something in me that he liked. He took a chance on me and 26 years later I am still with Danfoss and have worked up to a leadership position with one of their companies. In my career I have worked with and have met hundreds of people throughout the world. Few have had such a lasting impression as Bill Simpson. Kind hearted and fair he could always see the good in people. His words and his handshake was his bond. I will be forever grateful for him taking a chance on me. Over the years I used Bill’s leadership style for myself and my staff as an example that “good guys” can finish first. Mike McCoy
