Mary Bellandi Bandish, 76, of 2675 South Ave., Jamestown, died at 9:04 a.m. Thursday (December 8, 2016) in UPMC Chautauqua WCA.
She was born in Jamestown on November 6, 1940 the daughter of Thomas and Carmella Zanetta Ballandi.
Mary was employed as an executive secretary for Watson Manufacturing for seven years. She later was the visiting supervisor at the Boys and Girls Club for several years.
She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church.
Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and Friday night card games. She especially enjoyed talking politics.
She is survived by her husband, John Bandish, whom she married on May 28, 1966 in St. James Catholic Church, a daughter, Janelle (Brian) Paulson, two grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth and Alexis Mary Paulson, Jamestown, a sister, Donna (Carl) Mazzurco, Kiantone, a niece, Diana (Joe) Pillittieri and a nephew, Tom (Lori) Mazzurco, Jamestown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:45 p.m.
