Obituary of Dolores Yezzi

Dolores “Dolly” Romanski Yezzi, 82, of Jamestown and formerly of Erie, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday (February 27, 2015).
She was born in Erie, Pa. on April 7, 1932 the daughter of Peter and Victoria Piotrowicz Romanski.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert S. Yezzi, and by her son in law, Col. Frank R. Jordan and by two brothers, Raymond and Harry Romanski and a sister, Victoria Sadler.
She is survived by two sons, Fred (Tammy) and James Yezzi, a daughter, Denise Jordan, Lake Ridge, Va., seven grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) Jordan, Atlanta, Ga., Cynthia Jordan (Doug Hayes) New York City, Robert, Michael (Holly), Aaron, Ryan, and Mathew Yezzi, Jamestown; two great grandchildren, Elise and Grant Jordan, Atlanta, Ga., a sister, Dorothy Komorek, three brothers, Peter (Susan) Romanski, and Ronald (Judy) Romanski, of Erie. And James (Karen) Romanski, Clearwater, Fl. The Yezzi family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Heritage Park for being her loving and caring family for the past six years. Their ability to provide comfort, love, and communication, while we were unable to, defined a commitment to Quality above and beyond their job description.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Deacon Sam Pellerito of Holy Apostles SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church will officiate.
Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
Friends will be received for two hours prior to the funeral service.
