Oscar Santiago-Ramos, Jr., 62, of Jamestown, formerly of San German, Puerto Rico, died at 10:35 a.m. Monday (January 18, 2016) in Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
He was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on January 11, 1954 the son of Carmen Lidia Ramos, Bronx, N.Y. and the late Oscar Santiago-Tirado Sr.
He was employed as a security guard at the University of Mayaguez, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He enjoyed music and was in multiple bands.He served in the US Army from 1976 to 1980. He deeply loved his family.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Magdalena Bibiel, his children, Michael Santiago, Clearwater, Fl., Oscar (Sabrina)Santiago-Estrada, Geovanny, Christian, and Yaritza Santiago, Erie, Pa., Josephine (Luis) Cintron,, Omadier and Jeanery Santiago and Victor Fernandez, Jamestown and his former wife, Carmen Estrado, Erie, fifteen grandchildren, three sisters, Migdalia Alonso, Brunilda and Evelyn Santiago, Bronx, N.Y..
The funeral service will be provided by Movimentos Pentecostal Arca de Salvacion with the Rev. Wanda I. Cintron on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m.
Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
