Obituary of Harry M. Manelick

Harry M. Manelick, 86, of Jamestown, peacefully passed away Saturday (January 9, 2015) at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing, where he was a resident for several months.
Harry was born in Pittsfield, Pa. on September 25, 1929 the son of Metro and Mary Manelick.
Harry was employed at MRC/SKF for forty one years. He also worked as a loan officer for the MRC Federal Credit Union and attended Zion Covenant Church.
Harry enjoyed activities with his family, woodworking, bird watching and nature. He also loved music and spent many Sunday afternoons at the Mountain Railroad in Ellington.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne M. Kester Manelick whom he married on October 1, 1948 in Kane, Pa. They moved to Jamestown in 1953 where he resided until his death. Also surviving are two sons, Robert and Randall Manelick, Jamestown and a daughter, Kae Catalano, South Bristol, N.Y. a brother, Richard (Dick) Manelick, Youngsville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, William, Nick and James Manelick, his sisters Doris and Lena.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at 11:00 am. at Zion Covenant Church.
Visitation will not be observed.
The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
