Obituary of Connie M. Martorano

Connie M. Martorano, 93, of Jamestown, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday (October 26, 2016) in the Lutheran Home. She was born in Jamestown on January 9, 1923 the daughter of Michael and Mary Pacy Martorano. In earlier years Connie was rmployrf at a laundry service on Steele St. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She bowled at the Jamestown Bowling Co. and enjoyed her morning coffee at McDonalds on Foote Ave. She was also an avid dancer. Connie is survived by a sister, Josephine M. Sczempka, San Diego, Ca., a nephew, Joseph (Beth) Sczempka, San Diego, Ca., two great nieces, Danielle(Casey) McCabe, Los Angeles, Ca. and Kendall (Christian) Florido, San Diego, Ca. and a great nephew, Cameron Sczempka New York City, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony James Martorano and a brother, Michael “Mike” Martorano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
