Obituary of ​Rita F. Roberts

Rita F. Roberts, 76 of 167 Brad St., Jamestown, NY, died August 11, 2016 at her residence following a short illness surrounded by her family. She was born August 1, 1940 in Buffalo, NY to the late Hans Moeller and Kathe Seifert. She worked as a house-keeper for 28 years. Previous to that she was employed at Volkswagen of Jamestown and the Lakewood Tennis Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Hans Moeller II. She is survived by a daughter Lisa (Thomas) Volpe of Jamestown, son George (Betsy) Roberts of Cleveland, Ohio, and son Keith (Barbie) Roberts of Onoville, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Gina Volpe, Katie Roberts, Emily Roberts, Elizabeth Roberts, and Annabelle Roberts, and one great-grandchild, Benjamin. She loved watching the birds and wildlife in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren. A casual dinner will be held at her residence on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM for family and friends. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Chautauqua Humane Society.
