Obituary of Joanne M. Manelick

​Joanne M. Manelick, 85, peacefully passed away, August 24, 2016, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA. Joanne was born November 29, 1930, the daughter of Nellie Cunningham and Kay Kester, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Joanne attended Jamestown Community College where she earned her degree in nursing. She was a lifelong student, furthering her education with courses at SUNY Fredonia. She enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, and being with friends and family. She attended Zion Covenant Church where she enjoyed attending the ladies' Bible Study. In the summer, she also enjoyed attending Sunday church services at Chautauqua Institution. She married Harry M. Manelick on October 1, 1948, in Kane Pennsylvania, and they moved to Jamestown in 1953 where they resided until their deaths. She is survived by her sons Robert and Randall of Jamestown, and daughter Kae Catalano of South Bristol, New York, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters, Barbara Tiffany of Somerset, PA and Lynda Kidd of Cerulean, KY. Besides her husband and parents, Joanne was predeceased by a brother, Gerry Kester. A memorial service in celebration of Joanne's life will be held Monday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Covenant Church. The Rev.
