Harold G. Crowl, age 83, of Lakewood, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016. He was born in Chandlers Valley, Pa. on Jan. 23, 1933, the son of Frank and Roxie Rohrbough Crowl.
Harold was employed at Dahlstrom for 17 years as a foreman. He also owned and operated Crowl’s Service Center in Bemus Point from 1978 to 1990. Harold served in the US Air Force from 1953-1957 in Japan.
He was a member of the Falconer American Legion, lifetime member of the former John W. Tiffany Post, Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, Moose Lodge, and former member of War Vets and Vikings Lodge.
Harold is survived by his wife, Donna Mae Thurston Crowl whom he married on Aug. 30, 1958 in Frewsburg Zion Lutheran church; daughter, Judy Foley, of Falconer; sons: Todd (Donna) Crowl of Lakewood, NY, Stow and Scott (Debbie) Crowl of Ft. Myers, Fl.; granddaughter, Taylor Crowl, of Sanford, Fl.; and his brother, Robert Crowl, Cape Coral, Fl.
Harold was preceded in death by two brothers: John & Ray Crowl and a sister, Edith LeRoy.
No calling hours will be observed.
