Obituary of Victoria Gigliotti Annis

Victoria Gigliotti Annis, 96, of Jamestown, died Friday (July 15, 2016) in the Lutheran Home. She was born in Warren, Pa. on February 1, 1920, the daughter of Sam and Jennie Gigliotti.
Victoria was employed at the former Crescent Tool, and retired from Weber-Knapp in 1982. She then worked for the Foster Grandmother Program for fourteen years at Celoron Elementary School.
She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church, a member of Lakewood Rod & Gun Club Auxiliary, the Moose Auxiliary, and bowled in the AARP Bowling League.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony (Joyce) Annis, Webster, N.Y., Morris (Julie) Annis, Scottsville, N.Y., two daughters, Susan (Jim) Spencer, Moore, S.C. and Marcia Desrosiers, Lake Forest, Ca., thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Annis, whom she married on January 18, 1941 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Warren, Pa., and who died on December 25, 1969, and by three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Sam Gigliotti, and by six sisters, Mary DeMarco, Antoinette Salerno, Sophia Johnson, Edith Magnio, Josephine Roberti and Rose Ponick.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, in Christ Chapel of the Lutheran Home. The Rev. Dan Rumfelt, Chaplain at the Lutheran Home and Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James Catholic Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service at the Lutheran Home.
