Richard P. (Dick) Muczynski, 64, of 1027 Matthews Run Rd., died Tuesday (June 1, 2010) at the VA Hospital in Erie after a short illness.
He was born November 9, 1945 in Warren, a son of the late Benjamin P. Muczynski, and Angeline Huber, who survives him. Dick was a 1963 graduate of Eisenhower High School and was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Navy. He owned and operated Dick’s Service Center in Youngsville for 25 years, and was a member of the Halgren-Wilcox American Legion Post #658 in Youngsville. Dick was and avid outdoors man who truly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Crystal Muczynski, whom he married January 10, 1997 in Busti, NY; a son Rick P. Muczynski of Youngsville ,3 step children ,Troy Johnson, Warren, Nicole Johnson, California, and Ashley Johnson, Warren, 3 sisters, Nancy (Vern) Ecker, Arizona, Susan (Patrick) Cronmiller and Janet (Jack) Natale, both of Youngsville, and 6 grandchildren
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Hubert-Lewis Funeral Home Inc. 314 North Main St. in Youngsville. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at the Saron Lutheran Church in Youngsville with the Rev. Mark Fischer, pastor, officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by Members of the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard at the Youngsville Cemetery.
