Friends will be received on Friday, June 3rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home where a Christian Wake Service
will be held at 1:45. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 AM in St. James Catholic Church.
Ann C. Triscari Cimo, 87, formerly of Woodworth Ave., Jamestown, died at 11:55 p.m. Monday (May 30, 2011) at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing. She was born in Jamestown on February 24, 1924, the daughter of Rosario and Carmela Paterniti Triscari.
Ann was a 1942 graduate of Jamestown High School and was employed as Sanitary Wiping Cloth for twenty-one years, retiring in 1986. She was previously employed at National Worsted Mills and in the cafeteria of Jamestown Community College. She was also a former election inspector and was a helper at the Elks Club bingo.
She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Junior Matron Club. She was a well known baker and enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren. She was a devoted caretaker for her mother as her mother grew older.
Ann is survived by two sons, Angelo (Cathy) Cimo, Jamestown and Russell (Diane) Cimo, Fresno, a daughter Sandra Ann (Steven) Hillman, San Ramon, Ca., seven grandchildren: Jennica (Kelly) Murphy, Salt Lake City, Utah and Natalie (Frank) Lisco, Atlanta, Ga., Matthew Cimo, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Carrie Ann Cimo, Golden, Co., Nicholas, Christopher and Michael Cimo, Fresno, Ca., two brothers Sebastian ( Busty) Triscari, Jamestown and Joseph Triscari, Falconer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore Cimo whom she married on September 3, 1949 in St. James Catholic Church and who died on January 30, 1984, and by a sister Angeline Triscari who died in 1955.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 1:45 p.m..
