Angeline "Angie" J. Genco Saullo
Angeline "Angie" J. Genco Saullo, 80, of 115 Prather Ave., Jamestown, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday (April 24, 2011) in the WCA Hospital.
She was born in Jamestown on September 3, 1930 the daughter of Paul and Rosaria Basile Genco.
Angie was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She also helped bake for the the annual St. Joseph Table.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and as a great care giver.
Angie is survived by three sons Jack (Deena) Saullo, Busti, John (Nancy) Saullo, Russell, Pa., James Saullo, Stuart, Fl., two daughters Judy (Harry) Netti, Austin, Tx. and Annette (George) Sielski, Jamestown, ten grandchildren James Saullo and his fiancee Sarah Barry, Lakewood, Christopher Wilcox, Busti, Jacob (Ashley) Saullo, Franklin, Pa., Ellin (Rory) Kightlinger, Coudersport, Pa., Renae (Mark) DeAngelo, Scotia, N.Y., Dana (Jamie) Saperito, Odenton, Md., Justin Netti, Austin, Tx.,Andrea Netti, Dallas, Tx., John Saullo, Stuart, Fl. and Lindsey Saullo, Jamestown, five great grandchildren, two brothers John (Lucille) Genco and Anthony “Cy” (Angela) Genco, Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband G. Jake Saullo whom she married on October 23, 1952 in North East, Pa. and who died on October 20, 2006, an infant son Jimmy John Saullo, three brothers Sam, Mello and Jim Genco, five sisters Josephine Engwall, Ida Spitale, Rita Pillittieri, Mary Morrell and Decca Nelson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services.
An Altar & Rosary Society Service will be held at 1:30pm.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 8:30pm.
