Obituary of Angelina Perfetto Signorino

Angelina Perfetto Signorino, 90, of 136 Park St., Jamestown, died at 5:46 p.m. Tuesday (November 26, 2013) in the WCA Hospital. She was born in Canicatti, Sicily on January 12, 1923 the daughter of Antonio and Carmella DiPuma Perfetto. Angelina was employed as a custodian at Jamestown High School for nine years and was previously employed at WCA Hospital. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and volunteered at the annual St. Joseph Table and St. Susan Soup Kitchen. She is survived by three sons, Jack (Christine) Signorino and Anthony (Ursula) Signorino, Jamestown and Richard (Mayme) Signorino, Rochester, a daughter, Eleanor (Joseph) Brunco, Jamestown, nine grandchildren,Russell (Michelle) Brunco, Falconer, Matthew (Carla) Brunco, Joseph Anthony Signorino, Anthony (Rocky) Mandy Signorino, Jamestown, Mary Jo (Michael) Staertow and Joseph Richard Signorino, Rochester, Tonimarie (Daniel) Answeeney, Eden, N.Y., Jacqueline Duntley, Hamburg and Jessica (Nathan) Rush, Tonawanda, nineteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Carmella Valenti, Syracuse, Carrie Parla and Maria Mongitore, Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Signorino whom she married on October 18, 1936 in Canicatti, Sicily and who died on May 11, 1973 and by three brothers, Frank, Joseph & James Perfetto. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m..
