Obituary of Daniel Paul Little

Daniel Paul Little, 55, of Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born July 19, 1960 to Donald and Susan Little of Sugar Grove, Dan was a member of the Wrightsville Community Church, and loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus, with all of his heart, and lived a Christian life by following what he read in his Bible. Dan grew up in Sugar Grove and graduated from Eisenhower High School, he then lived and worked in Warren, eventually moving to Jamestown, where he shared his life with his beloved best friend, his dog, Em. He and Em would often be seen walking around town, and they often stopped to visit with children and their parents. Dan was a friend to many and had a heart of gold, helping anyone that asked whenever he could. He loved his family and was thrilled at becoming an uncle and loved playing with his nephew and niece, Landon and Rebecca Little. Dan was a great sports enthusiast and he loved to talk about sports with his family and friends. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Nicks. He knew them all by name as well as their backgrounds. He enjoyed racing and built a race car to race at the Stateline Speedway. Later in life, he could be seen in the pits with his father, Don, and brother, Shawn, who also built race cars and raced at Stateline. Together, they shared many stories about their racing days at Stateline Speedway. Dan was an avid reader, and also loved to watch his favorite TV show, Duck Dynasty, and his favorite movie, The Sound of Music. Dan is survived by his parents, his brother, Shawn, a nephew and a niece, Landon and Rebecca Little, and several aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey, in 1963, and his grandparents and two uncles. Dan was a lover of animals, and those wishing to place memorials may do so through any of the Humane Societies. There will be no visitation.
