Virginia Taylor Krivulka, 82, of 2109 Southwestern Dr., Lakewood, died at 4:35 a.m. Saturday (June 1, 2013) at the home of her daughter, Susan Bentley, 145 Jones Ave., Lakewood.
She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 17, 1930 the daughter of Cecil and Elnora Johnson Taylor.
Virginia was employed at Farnsworth Cookies in Cuba, N.Y. for several years. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses West Jamestown Congregation.
Virginia loved talking to people about the Bible, playing cards and was known as the Coffee Lady at the Kingdom Hall Building Projects.
She is survived by three sons, David Martin (Deborah) Krivulka, Belfast, N.Y., Clinton (Sharon) Krivulka, Conewango Valley, N.Y. and Andrew (Betty) Krivulka, South Dayton, N.Y., two daughters, Susan (Jim) Bentley and Sarah (Kurt) Hallberg, Lakewood, four grandchildren, Bonnie Krivulka, Conewango Valley, N.Y., Carissa (Tom) Johnson, Busti, Ryan (Ashleigh) Krivulka, Asheville, N.C. and Alexander Hallberg, Lakewood, a great grandson, Nathan Johnson, Busti, two sisters, Eva Jackson, Bradenton, Fl. and Doris Pierce, Stoney Point, N.C..
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alexander Krivulka whom she married on December 19, 1953 in Friendship, N.Y. and who died on February 20, 1987 and by two brothers, Willard and Cecil Taylor and a sister, Marie Calvert.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Jehovah's Witnesses West Jamestown Congregation, 3454 Baker St. Extension.
Elder Donald Haugh of Caledonia, NY will officiate.
Interment will be in Black Creek Cemetery, Black Creek, N.Y.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
