Robert J. Engblom, 61, of Twenty Eight Creek Rd., Ellington, died at 4:00 p.m. Sunday (December 20, 2015) at his residence.
He was born in Jamestown on September 3, 1954 the son of the late Clifford and Marilyn Ecklund Engblom.
Bob was employed as a mold maker at Carborundum for over forty three years. He was a former member of the Eagles.
Bob was a very sincere individual and enjoyed model airplanes, riding motorcycles and flying his drone.
He is survived by his two sisters, Pamela (Michael) LaTone, Bemus Point, N.Y. and Karyn (Thom) Bosko, Cumming, Ga., sister in law, Carole James, Brecksville, Oh, two nephews, Michael (Lynn) LaTone, Jamestown and Timothy Engblom, Brecksville, Oh., six nieces, Christine LaTone, Parker, Co., Kimberly LaTone, Jamestown, Lisa Joslyn Bowe, Salsilito, Ca., Sarah (Sean) Dubois, Jefferson, Ga., Adrienne (Derrick) Hale, Cumming, Ga. and Danielle (Nathan) Hale, Richfield, Oh., several great nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Engblom and a nephew, David Engblom.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. Donald Ray, retired pastor, will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Friends will be received for two hours prior to the funeral service.
