James “Salt” Michelson, 28, of Jamestown passed away Saturday October 17, 2015. He was born in Jamestown, NY on July 22, 1987, the son of Leland Dorsey and Kim Michelson both of Jamestown. James worked at Little Caesars, and formerly worked at Cockaigne Ski Resort and Purina in Dunkirk. He was also a landscaper. Besides his parents James is survived by four brothers: Daniel Holland of Jamestown, Kelvin Eddy, Ricky Eddy, and Joshua Eddy all of Panama, NY; sister, Taylor Boughton of Bemus Point, NY; grandparents, Carol and Steve Michelson, Sr. of Jamestown; great-grandfather, Paul C. Caylor of Jamestown; three uncles, Bobby Yarbrough, Steven Michelson, and Michael Yarbrough all of Jamestown; a nephew DeAndre James Holland, and several cousins. James was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Patricia Caylor and Marie Babyak, and his brother Leland Dorsey. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in the New Creation Assembly of God Church. The Rev. William Blair, pastor, will officiate.
