Obituary of Sandra Lee Simmons

​Sandra Lee Simmons, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Heritage Green Nursing Home in Greenhurst, N.Y., surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. She was born on Jan. 29, 1939, in Beaver Falls, Pa., the daughter of Juanita Maybury Thompson and Fred Verrett. Sandy attended Jamestown High School and was a member of Busti Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending bible studies. Sandy was preceded in death by her son, Mark Simmons and her brother Fred Verrett. She is survived by her brother Winfred Propheter, three daughters Mary Mungle, Ruth Bragg, Rebecca Kestler, daughter-in-law Renie Simmons and son Michael Frye. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Roberta Schutt, April Cronauer, James Carr, Fiorella Carr, Darlene Bragg, Harry Bragg, Scott Bragg, ANthony Bragg, Eric Bragg, Laurie Miller, James Kestler, William Kestler, Joanna Tillman, Sabrina Figueroa. She had many great-grandchildren whom she cherished. The funeral will take place ion Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
