Obituary of Carolyn G. Newberg

Carolyn G. Newberg, 68, of Celoron, died at 12:35 a.m. Friday (July 10, 2015) in the Rouse Home, Youngsville, Pa. She was born in Jamestown on February 3, 1947 the daughter of Joseph and Helen Ball Venus. Carolyn had been employed as a cook at the former Beechwood Restaurant. She had also been employed in the bulk foods department at the former Quality Markets and also at the former Bagel Company in Lakewood. She is survived by a son, Darrren (Dusty) Newberg, Black Hawk, Colorado, two grandchildren, Drake Newberg, Bradford County, Fl. and Ryan Newberg, Black Hawk, Colorado. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Venus. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, July 13 at the Celoron Community Building from 5 to 8 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. The family has entrusted her funeral arrangements to the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
