Obituary of James E. Repine

James E. Repine, 82, of the Warren Manor, formerly of Akeley, died Friday (April 24, 2015) in Warren General Hospital.
He was born in Dayton, Pa. on August 4, 1932, the son of Homer and Callie Lydick Repine.
Jim was employed as a machinist at Cummins Engine for over twenty years, retiring in 1991. He was formerly employed at Crescent Tool and Newell Press.
He was veteran of the US Army and served in Germany.
Jim’s family appreciated his hard work ethic and ability as a handyman, providing for a large merged family. He was known for his sense of humor and storytelling. Jim and his wife enjoyed feeding and entertaining friends and families at their home. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a baptized member of the south Jamestown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnessess. He will be missed by a large family and all those that knew him.
He is survived by three sons, James Repine, Simpsonville, S.C., Glenn Repine, Erie, Pa. and Kelly (Katherine) Repine, Jamestown,; five daughters, Bonnie Repine, Simpsonville, S.C., Kathy (John) Stapher, Greenville, S.C., Debbie Wooten, Niagara Falls, N.Y., Tawny (Daniel) Conti, Rock Hill, S.C. and
Kim (Craig) Jaggi, Russell, Pa.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two brothers, Frank (Mary Lou) Repine, Panama, N.Y., Wilbur “Sonny” Repine, Sugar Grove, Pa., a sister, Barbara “Diane” (Bernie) Dalrymple, Sinclairville, N.Y., brother in law, William Peterson, Sugar Grove, Pa. and a sister in law, Dorothy Repine, Sheffield, Pa. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy M. Repine, who died on July 3, 2013 and by three brothers, Clair “Duke”, Lyle “Ray” and Homer “Gene” Repine and a sister, Sarah Peterson.
A private family graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, Pa.
Visitation will not be observed.
