Charles M. Carlson (Chuck), 70, of Panama, NY, passed away June 1, 2023, due to complications of diabetes.
He was born October 1, 1952 in Jamestown, NY. He married the love of his life, Linda Visk on May 26, 1973 and they just celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Chuck was baptized March 24, 1973 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed helping his congregation and telling others about his beliefs and his hope for a better future ahead. He was a milk truck driver for many years, a school bus driver, and a mechanic. Chuck was always well known for proudly working on his personal vehicles and helping others to diagnose what was wrong with theirs. He loved nature including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed traveling and taking his family to the various parks across the country.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Linda, his five beautiful children, April (Travis) Weller, Kelly (Nicholas) Finch, Douglas (Keysha) Carlson, Robert Carlson and David Carlson, his granddaughter, Ariah Carlson who affectionately called him "Pop Pop", his sisters, Jesse, Linda and Betty, his aunts and uncle, Martin Kramer, Grace (Dean) Scheppel and Steve (Dawn) Kramarich. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Ellen DeRaat and his beloved grandparents, Martin and Jesse Kramarich.

A memorial service will be held on June 10th at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 181 Martin Road, Jamestown, NY.
