Obituary of Geneva Faison

Geneva Marie Faison, 87, of 2B Bradmar Village died February 25, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua (WCA). She was a native of Raleigh, NC and was born on October 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Hudson Faison and Marie Grissom Faison Parson. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the city of Jamestown as a clerical aide. She earlier had worked for the Moose Lodge, CARTS, and The Senior Aide Program as an aide as well. Geneva loved her shopping and garage sales, but nothing beat her BINGO nights! Surviving are her two daughters, Rochelle Howie of Douglasville, GA and Debra Buchanan of Rochester, NY and her son Curtis Nance Jr, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by 3 sons, Bruce Nance, Richard Nance Sr, and Roderick Faison, a daughter Crystal Nance, 2 brothers Thomas and Charles Faison and a sister Emma Jean Mitchell. A visitation will be held Friday March 3, 2023, from 11AM to 1PM at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lake View Cemetery.
