Linda Jean Cook Anderson, 68 of Jamestown passed away on February 4, 2023 with family by her side at UPMC Hamot after a short illness.
Linda was born on May 12, 1954 in Jamestown to Richard Cook and Barbara Strickland Haar.
She graduated from Maple Grove Central School and later obtained her degree from JBC.
Linda is survived by her two children, Erik (Amanda) Anderson of Jamestown and Stacy Jurges of Jamestown, her grandchildren, Tori, Taya and Domonick Shavalier, Leo and Zoe Anderson, and Ava Jurges, her great grandchildren, Maci, Nora and Serenity, her brothers, Richard Cook of NC, Steve (Mary) Cook of Erie, PA and Tom (Trisha) McCanna of NC. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and sister-in-law Libby.
Linda worked at Matco Tools for many years as well as several odd jobs. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Linda was a life long Buffalo Bills fan and loved to collect frogs. She will be missed by all who loved her.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 from 2pm-4pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
