Obituary of Genevieve Giunta

On October 9th at the age of 96 Genevieve Giunta(Jay) of Myrtle St in Jamestown NY peacefully passed away to be reunited in heaven with her loving and adoring brother Russell Giunta (Ray Ray), precious sister Rosalie Giunta, and brother Carl J Giunta(Carm). She is survived by her eldest brother Robert Giunta(Bobby), sister in law, Mary Ann Giunta, and nieces Renee Giunta and Lisa Giunta Sucato, Kathy Giunta, Tracey Giunta and nephews David and Kyle Giunta. Genevieve gave so much but asked for nothing in return. She was the primary caretaker of her sister Ro until she took ill herself. She loved God and her Catholic Faith and was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She had a huge heart and had the most insightful sayings that she shared whenever she spoke or wrote. “The only way to love anything is to realize it can be lost.” “The first duty of love is to listen.” Thank you for not only your insight but for actually living it with such grace. God bless and Rest in peace. Visitation will be held Monday October 17, 2022 from 11Am-12PM at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
