Obituary of David D Franzen

David S. Franzen, 56, of Jamestown passed away Feb. 11, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. Born July, 1, 1965 in Jamestown, a son of Richard (Joan) Franzen of Jamestown, and the late Evelyn Pickard Johnson. He was an alumni of Maple Grove Central School. David was employed at Hope's Windows for over 15 years retiring in 2009 due to being disabled. He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, loved attending auto shows, dogs and being outdoors doing yard work. Husband of 24 years to Sandra Dikeman Frazen, whom he married Sept. 12, 1997; father of Katie and Gregory of Jamestown, and Bradley Franzen of Brocton; brother of Ricky (Alicia) Johnson of Randolph and Debra (Mitch) Paterniti of Panama; brother in law of Cathy Ruch, Becky (Lini) Lauto'o, Richard Dikeman and the late Debra (Daryl) Thayer and Douglas Dikeman; uncle of Beth (Cody) Styers, Tony (Brittany) Paterniti, Lynne Catania, Jason (Julie) Ruch, Nona and Mailia Lauto'o, Christine Fregosi, Kirsten and Ashton Johnson; son in law of the late Gordon and Norma Dietzen Dikeman. Also survived by aunts, uncles and great nieces and nephews. Memorial service Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at 3PM with visitation beginning at 1PM at The Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 1011 W. 3rd ST. Jamestown.
