Ronald C VanGuilder, 63, of West Ellicott passed away on December 11, 2021. was born on March 20, 1958, the son of late Merton VanGuilder Sr, Joyce Miller VanGuilder Spencer and stepfather Merl Spencer. Ron was retired from Shults Chevrolet as a mechanic. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, horseshoes, fishing, and corn hole. He was an avid car lover. He also enjoyed the many nights playing cards with his siblings. Ron is survived by his three sons Ronald, Allen and Andrew (Dymphnia), his grandsons Cody and Blake, his brothers Merton “Bud” (Anne), Dean (Lynn), Timothy, Clement (Roxann), and Richard (Susan), his sisters Jeanette Hetrick and Hope (Faron), his stepbrothers Rodney (Deb) Spencer, Robert (Peggy) Spencer, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ron is preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Dean, his brother Thomas & Dennis, his stepbrother Randall Spencer, his brother in law Ernest Hetrick, and his sister in law Rachel VanGuilder. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Funeral services will not be observed. A celebration of life will occur for family and friends at a later date.
