Obituary of Terry Overbeck

Terry Overbeck, 75 of Jamestown passed away November 4, 2021 at Lutheran Home. He was born March 22, 1946 in Jamestown, NY a son of George “Smokey” and Clarice Overbeck. He was a graduate of SWCS. Terry was a proud member of the United States Army. He served from 1963-1966 in Europe. After serving Terry worked for over 30 years at MRC Bearing as a manufacturing supervisor until his retirement in 2002. Upon his retirement Terry spent 16 years in Myrtle Beach SC until moving back to Jamestown. He was a 49-year member of the American Legion Post 178 in Murrels Inlet SC., Moose Lodge 2351 in Surfside Beach SC, and Elks Lodge 2797 in Murrels Inlet SC. Terry enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Terry is survived by his 4 lovely daughters, Vicky (Chris) Schenider, Teena (James) Chau, Terrie Overbeck Woodruff and Leslie Overbeck, his 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jack and Floyd Overbeck. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.
