Carmen I Ferry, 61 of Jamestown, passed away October 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 13, 1960 in the Dominican Republic a daughter of Mariano and Noemi Guerra.
Carmen was the matriarch of the family. She took care of everyone on her family and her extended family. Carmen enjoyed vacationing in Florida, her faith in God and going to the casino. Her greatest love was for her family. Spending time with her family and being involved in their lives was her life. She loved to talk about family adventures especially the recent family tubing trip. She was an incredibly loving wife and mother to all her family and friends. Especially her close friend Larry Passinger who was like a brother to her. She will be deeply missed.
Carmen is survived by her husband Charles Ferry who have been together for 31 years and were married August 16, 2004 in Las Vegas, her parents, Mariano and Noemi Guerra, her children, Jasmine (David) Evangelista, Rosa Lopez, Stephanie (Dave) Giorgenti, Krystal (Peter) Coppola, Nany (K.C) Gonzalez, Tine (Charles) Borysoff, Stacey Thomas, Holly (Brad) Neureuter, Kimmy (Jeff) Holmes, and Rocky (Caira) Ferry, her grandchildren, Natalie Colon, Caroline Lopez, Keanu Perez, Michael Soto, McKayla Johnson, Madelyn Giorgenti, Grayson and Conner Coppola, Kelsey and Jordan Thomas, Hailey and Zoey Holmes, Summer Borysoff, Bryce Neureuter, and Ella and Ben Ferry, her siblings, Vera (Ignacio) Ramos, Alexandria Cuevas and her in laws, Stanley (Patricia) Ferry and Dawn (Philip) Preddy. Also surviving are several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Carmen is preceded in death by her sister Gladys Guerra, sister-in-law, Nancy Mabes, her very special mother-in-law, Rose Ferry, and her beloved dog, Lola.
Visitation will be Monday November 1, 2021 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
A funeral service to be held Tuesday November 2, 2021 10am at the funeral home followed by burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery at 11:30am.
