Lance William Olson, 70 of Jamestown passed away September 17, 2021 at his home. He was born December 6, 1950 in Jamestown, NY a son of Conrad W. Olson and Nancy A. Peterson Olson.
Lance attended Maple Grove High School. During his high school years Lance worked on the farms of Kurt and Douglas McCusker. After high school he was employed by his brother Brett Olson at Olson Enterprises. Later on, Lance started his own landscaping and plowing business.
Lance loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and just about any outdoor activity. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving is his brother, Scott Olson of Jamestown, NY, his sister, Deidre Olson Biondo (Michael) of Wheatfield, NY, his sister-in-law, Laurie York Olson of Sumter SC, his niece, Lindsay Kildahl (Tim) of Austin, MN, his grandnephew, Weston also of Austin, MN, his nephew, Avery Olson (Maria) of Lakewood, NY, his grandniece and grandnephew, Audrina and Alexander Olson both of Lakewood, NY, and his best friend and companion, his dog Buddy.
Besides his parents, Lance was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Eva and Carl Olson who raised him and his brother, Brett M. Olson.
A Memorial service will be held Wednesday September 29, 2021 at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm.
