Obituary of Timothy S Dennison

Timothy Spencer Dennison, age 57, of Kiantone NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Tim was born August 31, 1963 and grew up on the family farm in Kiantone, graduating from Frewsburg High School in 1981. He received his BS and MS, both in Computer Science, from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica NY. His 20+ year career in computer networking took him all over the world, including living for various lengths of time in New Hampshire, Minnesota, Seattle, Singapore, and Virginia. Following an early retirement for health reasons he returned to the family home in Kiantone where he spent his remaining years. In addition to his professional work Tim was an active volunteer with various organizations, including the Red Cross, serving as an emergency medical technician at sporting events, and managing computer systems for the Marine Corps Marathon for a number of years. He enjoyed traveling, singing, animals, spending time with friends, shortwave radio, and cooking.
Tim was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Paul Dennison, his mother, Pauline Puckett Dennison, and his father, Frederick Michael Dennison. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Dennison of Stillwater, MN, nieces Sage, Hannah, and Alice Passmore, numerous cousins and friends, and his cat Trouble.

A virtual memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2021, with an in-person service to be held later this year.
