Obituary of Margaret E Colera

Margaret Elaine Colera (Peggy), 78 of Waterford, PA passed away December 25, 2020 at UPMC Shadyside. She was born July 23, 1942 in Spartansburg, PA the daughter of Lawrence and Rheba Hicks. After graduating from Spartansburg High School, Peggy worked for GTE in the sales office for many years. Peggy married her husband Samuel Colera on November 9, 1963 in ST. James RCC, Jamestown, NY. Peggy and Sam were members of the Mopar Club. They went to many car shows with their 1968 Roadrunner that they purchased new. She enjoyed hobbies, traveling with her daughter, crocheting, playing cards, bingo, sewing, crafting, and gardening. Peggy loved her Pomeranian, Levi. Peggy is survived by her Daughter, Candy Colera, and her sister, Winona Beardsley. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel Colera in August 2016, her siblings, Edna Hicks, Audry Colera, Richard (Rowean) Hicks, Dorthea (Richard) Jones, JoAnn Dowd, and David (Betty) Hicks. Calling hours will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 from 10:30am-12:30pm at Hubert Funeral Home 111 S. Main St Jamestown NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday December 30, 2020 1:00pm at St. James RCC Jamestown, NY. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Jamestown, NY.
