Leslie J Carlson, 83 of Jamestown NY passed away July 7, 2020 at his home. He was born October 24, 1936 in Jamestown, NY the son of Walter Carlson and Reva Coan Carlson.
Leslie graduated Jamestown High School class of 1954. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958 and was Honorably Discharged. He was baptized in 1959 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the West Jamestown Congregation 181 Martin Road Jamestown NY.
Leslie married his wife Sarah on June 23, 1962. Leslie retired from Cummins Engine in 2000 after nineteen years of service.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Sarah Elliott Carlson, his children, Joseph (Rose) Carlson, Pamela Carlson (Norman) Yonkers, and Jennifer Carlson (Mark) Baglia, his grandchildren, Arran Carlson and Andrew Carlson, and his sister Linda Frank.
In addition to his parents Leslie is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Carlson.
Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Inurnment will be private.
