Obituary of Janet L Hodges

Janet L Hodges, 71 of Celoron passed away May 29, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 19, 1948 in Janesville, PA the daughter of Marcel Lefebvre and Betty Lefebvre Gathagan. Janet was married to Charles Hodges for over 54 years. They wed August 14, 1965. After High School Janet went on to become a certified beautician from Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture Inc. Janet worked for a number of years as a kitchen aid at Lakewood Elementary School and later retired as an associate from the Dollar Tree in Lakewood, NY. Janet was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge in Celoron and the Celoron Legion. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, and grandmother who also had a fierce love for her grandchildren, Nazayah, Kenton, Kingston, Karter, Tru and her very special great granddaughter, Evangeline. Janet is survived by her Husband Charles Hodges of Celoron, her daughter, Michelle (Ron) Tonkin of Jamestown, her grandchildren, Jessica (Garrett) Hodges of West Ellicott and Charles Tonkin and Taylor Tonkin both of Jamestown, her step granddaughter, Darla Tonkin of Jamestown, her step great grandchildren, Arionna and Kiana, and her siblings, Barbara (Butch) Wagner of Warren, PA, Lucy Nelson of Warren, PA, and Debbie (Dave) Neid of Jamestown. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Hodges, and her granddaughter, Cheyenne Hodges. Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
