Obituary of Rhonda Deering

Rhonda Lee Deering, 49 of Sinclairville, Ny passed away December 28, 2019 at UPMC Hamot. She was born June 10, 1970 in Dunkirk, NY the daughter of Robert Deering and Phoebe Van Houten. Rhonda attended Casadaga Valley High School. Rhonda loved to help others. She would always do everything she could for someone in need. She was an animal lover as well, fostering any animal in need. She enjoyed arts and crafts. Rhonda was very thoughtful with every masterpiece she created. She often made all of her own holiday decorations, wreaths were her specialty. She was an outstanding cook. She loved Cooking for the holidays best. Some of her favorite dishes were stuffing, shepherd’s pie, biscuits and gravy, swedish meatballs, and pumpkin pie. Rhonda was a big fan of NASCAR, her favorite driver was Tony Stewart. She enjoyed watching her Miami Dolphins and Harry Potter movies. Her favorite color was purple. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping every summer on the family property. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rhonda is survived by her children, Laura Deering, Sarah Deering, Tyler Monroe, and Jasmine Jackson, her siblings, Mary Van Houten and Jake Deering, grandchildren, Jaiden Monroe, Andrew Olsen, and Jordyn Olsen, Son in law, Robbie Olsen, her pets, Bailey and Kahlua, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Amber Deering, her siblings, Jerry Van Houten and Donny Van Houten, and her best friend Kristy Martinez.
