Travis J Kervin, 47 of Eccles Rd. in Kennedy passed away on December 21, 2019 unexpectedly in his home of natural causes. He was born on December 24, 1971 in Jamestown, NY the son of John Kervin and the late Beverly Kervin Tome.
Travis was a graduate of Jamestown High School class of 1989. Following his graduation Travis tried his hand at different jobs and spent time traveling across the country. When he returned to the area Travis worked for Power Drives for many years. Travis was also worked as a bartender at his Dad’s tavern where he made many lasting friendships and enjoyed many football games.
When Travis was young, he enjoyed swimming, martial arts, and card games. In his adult years he liked being at camp with his buddy Del Anderson and hunting. Travis enjoyed literature and writing. He had a keen sense of observation and a witty sense of humor. He appreciated nature and liked animals. His last dog was a rescued stray. Travis loved football and was a fan of the Bills and 49ers.
Travis cared for those he loved and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are his Father John (Dianne) Kervin of Falconer, NY, his sister Amanda (Michael) Laurin of Janestown, NY, his nephews, Andrew and Nathaniel, his niece, Cara, his aunt, Beatrice Luczak, his uncle Ray (Chris) Rogalski, as well as many cousins. He was especially close to his cousins Tracey Brooks and Rhonda (Scott) Conklin.
Travis is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Kervin Tome, his aunts, Patricia Stam and Catherine Brougham, his uncle Walt Rogalski, and his Grandparents.
Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Falconer Fire Dept., 115 Davis St Falconer, NY, The Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Rd, Jamestown, NY, or The American Cancer Society.
