Obituary of Diega Colletti

Diega Colletti 72 of Jamestown passed away February 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1948 in Canicatti, Sicily the daughter of Joseph and EduardaTrupia. Diega married her husband Raffaele who passed away in 1998 in 1969 in Italy. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Family was everything to her. Diega loved to cook for her family and was famous for her sauce. She was a seamstress and loved making clothing for her children and grandchildren. Diega enjoyed playing rummy with her family. She will be remembered most for her great sense of humor, strong will, and her commitment to her family. She will be deeply missed. Diega is survived by her children, Salvatore (Dawn) Colletti of Jamestown, Sylvana Colletti of Jamestown, Alda (Douglas) Brown of Jamestown, and Maria (Douglas) McSkimming of Jamestown, her grandchildren, Ronald (Jessica) Huntington, Alexa Huntington, Bradley Brown, Deanna Huntington, Salvatore Colletti, Mia Brown, Rena Huntington, and Adrianna McSkimming, and her great grandchildren, Mason Anderson and Laura Huntington, her sister-in-law Giovanna Colletti, brother-in-law Charlie Russo, and her cousins Maria Immordino and Carmen Donisi. Diega is preceded in death by her parents, her Husband Raffaele Colletti, her grandson, Jonathan Brown, and her cousin Joseph Donisi. Calling hours will be Sunday March 1, 2020 from 4pm-7pm at Hubert Funeral Home and cremation services. A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday March 2, 2020 10am at St. James RCC.
