Obituary of Lisa A Hollis
Lisa Hollis, 58, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Nov. 21, 2019, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on Feb. 10, 1961 to the late Patricia Heald Carlson.
She is survived by her brothers: Jeffery and Ron; her three daughters: Stephanie Osman, Amanda Hollis (Patrick Kent), and Kayla Dawn Butts; her son, Benjamin Osman; grandsons: Benjamin Osman Jr. (with her first great-grandson, Bayker on the way), Christopher Hernandez, Payton Hernandez, Anthony Osman and Za’Qariah Osman; granddaughter, Olivia Osman; and Alyssa Osman mother of her three great-granddaughters Demianna, Demarhia, and DeMya; and her fur babies: Molly, Riley, Slater, and her familiar cat, Fatty.
Lisa resided in her home in Jamestown, N.Y., for the last 42 years. She most recently worked preparing food for Meals on Wheels of Jamestown.
She loved her family unconditionally. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and never missed a game. She loved all things Fall, including Halloween, and creating pumpkin carving traditions with family. Lisa was known for her savory meals, traditional family recipes, and baked goodies. She was devoted to self-healing through her spiritual journey.
Per her request there will not be a funeral or viewing. She requested a celebration of life to occur at her daughter Stephanie’s bar, The Swamp. This celebration was observed Sunday, Nov. 24, with many family members and close friends.
